The Windham Art Gallery is a member-run cooperative gallery founded in 1989 as a Program of the Arts Council of Windham County, a non-profit organization. The gallery's mission is to provide an opportunity for both seasoned artists and those whose work might otherwise be overlooked—such as seniors, children, and artists who are displaying their work for the first time—to exhibit their work in a professional setting. Its aim is to present diverse and exciting exhibits, which are free and open to the public, that provide a community forum for lively thought and conversation about art and the art-making process. We are located at 69 Main Street, Brattleboro, Vermont. Every first Friday of the month, Brattleboro celebrates Gallery Walk. This is an evening when many galleries and shops host concurring openings and receptions. We invite you to join us and all the other galleries in downtown Brattleboro for our gallery walk every first friday of the month from 5-8 pm. For more information about our area go to |
